In the last several years, Sam Corlett has become a household name. He rose to fame after starring as Luke in Robert Connelly's feature film adaptation of the best-selling novel "The Dry."
Sam Corlett did not once think he would pursue a career in acting. Born in New South Wales, Australia, in 1995, the young star's interests leaned more towards writing, philosophy, human behavior, psychology, art, and sports.
However, he soon realized he could express all his passions through stage and acting, and that's when he began taking acting lessons with renowned coaches such as Andrew Lewis, Glenda Linscott, Les Chantery, and Elizabeth Kemp.

HIS ENTRY INTO THE FILM INDUSTRY
He studied and graduated from the Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts in 2018, earning a Bachelor in Performing Arts. During his second year there, he appeared in the play "The Emancipation of Alice Paws."
His other stage credits include Tennessee William's "A Streetcar Named Desire," "Arthur Miller's "The Crucible," and William Shakespeare's "Midsummer Nights Dream."
The 26-year-old also starred as Caliban, the sexy Prince of Hell, in the supernatural horror "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina." His character is born of clay and challenges Sabrina for the Throne of Hell.
STARRING AS LEIF ERIKSSON ON "VIKINGS: VALHALLA"
His most recent role is playing the ingenious explorer and sea captain Leif Eriksson on "Vikings: Valhalla," a follow-up of the original "Vikings" series. He plays alongside Freydis, his fearless and devout pagan sister. Swedish actress and model Frida Gustavsson plays Freydis.
Leo Suter plays Harald Sigurdsson, a ferocious fighter and the Prince of Norway. As the three set out on a journey to find a Christian Viking who degraded Freydis for her beliefs, they learn to appreciate and lean on each other.
The trio sets out on a treacherous journey to Kattegat, Norway, from their homeland Greenland. Throughout the voyage, viewers experience the adventures and the fight for survival for the most famous Viking to have ever lived.
During an interview with On Demand Entertainment, Suter disclosed how intriguing shooting the series was. He says they would ride horses one day, then be on boats the next.
He shared: "Every day was something different. One day you're on a boat. One day you're on a horse. One day you're swinging an ax. So to have such a varied work week is pretty special."
DEALING WITH THE FAME
The "Noah" actor also shares that despite the fame and massive following that has come with his role on the show, he will stay grounded and continue enjoying his shooting breaks with family and friends back in Australia. He shared his experience shooting the film:
"I don't particularly like to expect anything. I'm just so grateful that I got to honor this character and work with such beautiful people."
Throughout the show, Corlett and Suter maintain an enviable relationship, and the former says that learning the stunts was almost like choreography and an absolute gift and beautiful experience for the cast.
